Building Youth Power and Leadership
We are excited to be supporting a new iteration of the Out of the Blue project, handing curatorial power and creative agency over to young people at the Bluecoat arts centre in Liverpool. Participants will be involved in selecting artists to co-curate two major children-focused exhibitions taking place in Bluecoat’s main galleries in 2024 and 2026, as well as a significant outdoor commission in 2025. This will help young people to shape Liverpool’s cultural identity and evoke structural change in the way that art and culture is created, enjoyed and disseminated in disadvantaged areas. We can’t wait to see the exhibitions!
