Having supported many brilliant initiatives set up by David Fox-Pitt MBE in the past, the Trustees fully endorsed Operation Grab Bag and Operation Pizza to supply Grab Bags to frontline NHS workers.
By the end of April 2020 Operation Grab Bag was distributing 540 food Grab Bags weekly to Kings Cross Hospital Dundee, Perth Royal Infirmary, Forfar and Arbroath Hospitals and the Glasgow Royal Infirmary. This gave all the amazing NHS staff a massive lift, a helping hand and a much needed morale boost. Operation Pizza served four major schools in Dundee (key worker children and families at risk) with special wood fired Pizzas (250 pizzas served) plus a grab bag to take back to their families. This activity was a one off for April 2020.
The Foundation awarded a grant of £5,000.

Future Funding
Having supported a broad range of inspiring and transformational projects over the Foundation’s 30 year history, the Trustees decided to embark upon a strategic review to ensure our grants were having the greatest impact. In 2020 we completed an intensive eight month programme led by Ten Years’ Time and we’re thrilled to be focussing all our efforts now on building Youth Power and Leadership with some fantastic partners.
